A Way of Life
Lara Gibson

Lara has a multidisciplinary design and strategy background, having worked in architectural practices as well as non-governmental organisations. Her recent work at Design for London helped to steer a longer term approach to regeneration in the Lower Lea Valley and Olympic Fringe addressing high levels of deprivation, as well as developing studies and ideas for a better London.
Lara trained at the Mackintosh School in Glasgow, Escola Polytechnic Madrid, and London Metropolitan University. She is course leader of the new MA in Spatial Planning and Urban Design at London Metropolitan University.

Levent Kerimol

Levent works at Design for London on masterplans and developments in Rainham, Dagenham, Barking, the Albert Basin, and the Upper Lea Valley as well as working on the Green Grid programme. He was born in London, studied architecture at Cambridge, and has worked in practices in London and the Netherlands. He completed a post graduate diploma at the Architectural Association where his research thesis studied systems of organisation and proposed new platforms for representative design negotiation. Levent teaches on a new MA in Spatial Planning and Urban Design at London Metropolitan University.
